I am a technically focused entrepreneur with over 15 years experience in broadcasting, project management, software development, internet, mobile, and operations.
I am an individual with a strong
entrepreneurial drive; I have a technical focus but enjoy all aspects
of business. I have strong decision-making and problem solving skills
willing to do what it takes to get a project successfully delivered.
Having worked in the USA, Europe and Asia I am comfortable working
worldwide. I am proficient at the managing and the architecture of the following. In 2005 I became involved in live broadcast television and currently Head of Technology for a TV company.
• Broadcast operations with a focus on Live television. Working knowledge of satellites, MPLS, SDI, vision mixing / directing / cameras / sound and production management.
• Mobile Messaging using SMS, MMS, EMS, SMSC,SMPP, J2ME and Symbian
with extensive market experience of the US, European and Asian markets.
• Internet, Intranet and extranet web based applications using technologies from companies such as Microsoft, Adobe, Java
• Software release management including change control, BETA programs,
software source control, installation development and issue tracking.
• Consulting to media brands and blue chips worldwide on mobile and
Internet and mobile strategic direction for current and future
technologies.
• Assisting companies in creating services that target developers via Software Development Toolkits (SDK/API)
• IT Consulting including firewalls, anti virus, spyware and Internet
employee compliance, IT procurement, installation, servers, desktops,
security
• Experienced in delivering major high profile / high availability projects
at a senior level around the world.
